It being an Institution with strong ties to the Legal System, students have been involved in pioneer projects directed to a strong practical side duly founded on the most recent and supported theoretical and scientific bases.

Students will have contact with instruments for evaluating forensic psychology and reference places of internship allowing for practical knowledge on the Legal System.

This Master's Degree prepares psychologists to work in Institutions in the Legal System, bodies associated with prevention and support of crime victims, and institutions in charge of rehabilitating social outcasts.

Students in the Master of Forensic and Criminal Psychology have the opportunity to engage in research at CiiEM, collaborating with specialized labs and research groups focused on the intersection of psychology, law, and criminal justice. This collaboration allows students to explore criminal behavior, forensic assessments, and the psychological factors that influence legal processes. Through this research, students can contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in criminal psychology, enhancing both forensic evaluation and crime prevention strategies.
