Another highlight is centered on the Nurs*Lab, a scientific research laboratory integrated into the Egas Moniz Interdisciplinary Research Center. In this space, our team encompasses various projects of great relevance both nationally and internationally, in the diverse areas of study cycles.

We have fully equipped classrooms, providing all the essential materials and resources for learning, with a special emphasis on developing crucial communication and relational skills for clinical practice. We offer the opportunity to participate in various group dynamics, Ice Breakers, Role-playing, Brainstorming, and Teamwork, all planned and conducted appropriately, with due respect for the individual needs of each student, thus ensuring a safe and collaborative environment.

• To develop specialized intervention skills in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, based on a body of knowledge grounded in evidence-based practice, enabling students to demonstrate clinical judgment and ethical and deontological decision-making skills;
• To develop skills that allow for the resolution of new problems and complex situations in the field of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, demonstrating critical thinking in clinical practice and research contexts;
• To stimulate the improvement of the quality of health care through the promotion of research practice;
• To train experts in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing with skills in clinical governance, team management, projects, and nursing care in various clinical practice contexts.
