Through a series of workshops, seminars in the subject-matters, seminars in research laboratories, and clinical meetings students have contact with the research projects taking place. Afterwards, they will develop their work based on the feedback they receive from the professors in our fields of research.

Egas Moniz has a network of 17 research laboratories and a Dental Clinic with state-of-the-art technology suitable for serving as the basis of our PhD. The case-by-case volume of this practice has naturally made it a research pillar based on the interdisciplinary research that characterises the Egas Moniz DNA.

The unique cooperative culture of the structure of Egas Moniz was designed to encourage an interaction among researchers from different areas of Biomedical Sciences. All students are an essential part of this community of 3,000 members and play an active role in the ongoing concept of interdisciplinary research.
