This course aims to educate the participants in the recent concept of minimally invasive adhesive dentistry and will equip the student with state-of-the-art theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Dentistry and Oral Rehabilitation from simple cases to the most complex multidisciplinary cases.

Learning goals

Specific goals
Acquire knowledge in the field of dental morphology, dental materials, fixed prosthesis, restorative Dentistry, occlusion, Periodontology, and the legal aspects that are inherent to aesthetic rehabilitation.
Acquire theoretical knowledge based on current scientific evidence allowing for an assessment of the founded indications and advantages in the new biomimetic restorative solutions in anterior and posterior teeth (direct and indirect restorations).
Learn how to use adhesive techniques as foreseeable combining composite with ceramics in order to reproduce the resistance and function of a natural tooth.
Understand the wax-up foundation and technique, mock-up trial, obtaining prints, and temporary restorations.
Learn the biomechanical and biological principles of minimally invasive dental preparation.
Obtain theoretical and practical knowledge of laboratory steps and underlying procedures to the communication between the practice and laboratory.
Proceed with a clinical execution of biomimetic prosthetic restorations in anterior teeth (veneers) and posterior teeth. (Students of the Clinical component)
