The teaching of the postgraduate course in Electrocardiography and Cardiac Arrhythmias aims to obtain in-depth knowledge and autonomy in the following areas:
Reading and interpreting the electrocardiogram (ECG);
Differential diagnosis of tachyarrhythmias with narrow QRS complexes and tachyarrhythmias with wide QRS complexes; 4. Differential diagnosis of cardiac bradyarrhythmias and intraventricular conduction disorders.
At the end of the course, participants will have acquired in-depth knowledge in electrocardiographic analysis and interpretation and in the differential diagnosis of cardiac tachyarrhythmias and bradyarrhythmias.

Specific Objectives
The postgraduate course in Electrocardiography and Cardiac Arrhythmias aims predominantly at obtaining in-depth knowledge and autonomy in reading and interpreting electrocardiographic data and in the differential diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias.
The objectives are achieved with the program contents described.
In the field of electrocardiographic analysis and interpretation, particular importance is given to the observation of electrocardiographic parameters and the diagnosis of myocardial infarction and its location.
In the field of cardiac tachyarrhythmias, teaching focuses on atrial arrhythmias, nodal reentrant tachycardia and atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia related to the accessory pathway, ventricular pre-excitation syndromes and ventricular tachycardias.
Particular importance is given to the differential diagnosis of tachyarrhythmias with narrow QRS complexes and tachyarrhythmias with wide QRS complexes.
In the field of cardiac bradyarrhythmias, teaching focuses on sick sinus syndrome, atrioventricular blocks and intraventricular conduction disorders. Particular emphasis is given to differential diagnosis.
