**Module I - Digital and Aesthetic Fundamentals and Simple Case Planning**

- Introduction, presentation of the course instructors and course content
- Fundamental concepts of guided surgery: advantages, indications, and limitations
- Biological principles of implantology
- Concepts of reverse prosthetic planning. Role of facial aesthetics and Digital Smile design
- Digital image acquisition: CBCT and facial scan. Intraoral digital impressions.

- Integration of DICOM + STL files: principles and workflows
- Practical introduction to the use of: - BlueSkyPlan: basic surgical planning. - Meshmixer: STL manipulation and digital extraction modeling
- Planning of simple single and partial cases: - With adjacent teeth. - With the need for prior digital extraction
- Creation and export of simple surgical guides (dental support).

- Basic communication with the laboratory: waxing and 3D printing of guides.

Module I

**Module II - Complex Cases: Bone Reduction and Immediate Full Loading**

- Planning of edentulous cases
- Bone analysis and strategic implant placement in the maxilla and mandible
- Digital bone reduction: ◦ Osteotomy planning. ◦ Specific bone reduction guides.
- Concepts of primary stability and prosthetic distribution for immediate full loading.
- Digital design of multiple (stackable) guides: ◦ Bone reduction guide. ◦ Drilling/Implant guide. ◦ Prosthetic placement guide.
- Integration with immediate loading provisional prosthesis.
- How to manage patient expectations based on clinical reality, aesthetic expectations, and functional criteria.

Module II

**Module III - Immediate Loading Planning in FP1 Type Prostheses**

- Clinical and prosthetic differences between FP1, FP2, and FP3.

- Aesthetic diagnosis and smile analysis for FP1 cases.
- Planning the ideal implant position considering soft tissues and emergence profile.
- Bone and gingival preservation techniques (socket shield, flapless, gingival graft).

- Digital workflow for FP1 rehabilitation: ◦ Integration of CBCT + STL + photographs. ◦ Prosthetic planning based on facial aesthetics.

- Design and impression of immediate temporaries in FP1 cases.

- Choice of materials for printed temporaries.

- Surgical-laboratory coordination for same-day prosthesis delivery.


Module III

**Module IV - Clinical Residency: Simple Cases: Unitary with or without tooth extraction**

- Digital image acquisition: CBCT and facial scan. Intraoral digital impressions.
- Design of surgical guides using BlueSkyPlan and Meshmixer software.
- Integration of DICOM + STL files: principles and workflows.
- Surgeries on patients performing the techniques and planning learned during the theoretical-practical component.

Module IV

**Module V - Clinical Residency in Complex Cases: Bone Reduction and Immediate Total Loading**

- Digital image acquisition: CBCT and facial scan. Intraoral digital impressions.
- Design of surgical guides using BlueSkyPlan and Meshmixer software.
- Integration of DICOM + STL files: principles and workflows.
- Surgeries on patients performing the techniques and planning learned during the theoretical-practical component.

Module V

Study Plan

In recent decades, advances in digitalization and imaging tools have significantly expanded the possibilities of precise and predictable planning for procedures with implants, bone regeneration and complex extractions, as well as achieving optimized aesthetic results at the Periodontal level.

This Post-Graduation program aims to prepare future specialists to perform detailed diagnoses, develop personalized surgical plans and execute minimally invasive procedures with high precision.

The training enables students to use digital planning software, to prepare customized surgical guides and to work in a multidisciplinary manner, aligning themselves with international standards and the best current practices.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to perform guided surgeries safely and effectively, guaranteeing better results for their patients through a modern, technological and digital approach.

A Post-Graduation in Guided Surgery in Dental Medicine and Digital Fluxo is an intensive and specialized training that focuses on modern techniques for planning and executing surgeries assisted by digital technology.

General Learning Objectives

1. Introduce the fundamentals of guided surgery and apply digital planning in simple cases, with and without virtual tooth extraction.
2. Address advanced clinical situations with digital planning of guides for bone reduction and full rehabilitation with immediate loading.
3. Deepen digital planning in cases of high aesthetic and functional demands with FP1 fixed prostheses (teeth on implants with preserved natural gingiva).
