This 3-year full-time program aims to make the student proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of advanced periodontal pathology and surgical treatment with dental implants, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of all pathologies and mechanical occurrences that can occur with the use of implants in the long term.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the basic sciences of periodontology (anatomy, physiology, microbiology, immunology, genetics);
• Recognize the various forms of periodontal disease, developing a correct diagnosis and treatment plan;
• Have in-depth knowledge of the classical and current literature that supports the clinical decision-making process;
• Develop clinical skills in non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment;
• Be aware of the latest technical and scientific developments;
• Plan and execute treatment with dental implants, as well as their rehabilitation;
• Evaluate treatment results and establish appropriate maintenance measures.
