Syllabus

While at the same time implementing a more effective intervention strategy in terms of recovery as well as preventing injuries.

This degree intends to consolidate and systematise knowledge that is acquired in the clinical practice and develop skills for quality practices based on evidence in terms of clinical management of disorders related to sports or physical activity using compatible clinical types of thought in order to adapt the intervention strategies to different neuromusculo-skeletal disorders. 

Sports Physiotherapy

- Increase theoretical and practical knowledge on sport sciences and the mechanisms of injuries in order to apply these skills in the clinical practice and contribute to the progress of this profession;
- Promote an analytical approach based on solving problems and develop specific skills in treating injuries associated with sports and physical exercise;
- Promote an understanding of the physiological principles involved in preventing injuries and the involvement of structures when the athlete returns to their activity after the injury;
- Thoroughly assess and analyse progress and changes in the professional activity;
- Develop good practice standards based on the reflection, discussion, and resolution of problems in different clinical contexts;
- Initiate changes and guide the management of changes in order to promote the development of this profession in the context of sports and physical exercise on the basis of a practice based on evidence.
