Egas Moniz and its two higher education institutions, the Egas Moniz University Institute (IUEM) and the Egas Moniz Higher School of Health (ESSEM), are a benchmark in the landscape of health education in our country.
Through the expression of its mission and vision, Egas Moniz is also based on two major pillars, in addition to the teaching and learning of its students:
- In the advancement of knowledge, through the performance of research, development and innovation activities, embodied in its Egas Moniz Interdisciplinary Research Center (CiiEM).
