The Secondary Education Completion Certificate must be submitted at a later stage, before the end of that edition of the Gateway Foundation Programme;

The applicant must also select the branch to which they are applying.
The Selection Committee is composed of the programme’s international recruiters, coordinated by the Vice-Rector of IUEM and the Vice-Director of ESSEM.
After reviewing all application materials, the Selection Committee makes the final decision, and Egas Moniz School of Health & Science informs the applicants by email.
If accepted, applicants must indicate their preferred modality of participation in the programme (online or in person) and proceed with the payment of the associated fees.
Once participation in the programme has been confirmed, students will be contacted by Egas Moniz School of Health & Science with instructions to pay the programme enrolment fee. After this payment is made, students will receive the acceptance letter, as well as information regarding classes and the academic calendar. At the time of enrolment, students must also pay the school insurance fee (as clinical facilities will be used).
Important: Attendance is one of the criteria for successful completion of the programme. If a student is absent from more than 25% of classes (in each subject), they will fail the programme.
