Egas Moniz is always concerned about giving its students, teachers, researchers and non-academic staff an international profile in the search for professional and personal development.
This concern with the development of an international profile has developed naturally over the years with the appearance of international mobility programmes, to which Egas Moniz has always applied with great success.
Several mobility programmes are currently available to which students, teachers, researchers and non-academic staff can apply.
In the years to come Egas Moniz will continue to develop this international profile, for the benefit of the institution and, certainly, of all those who study and work there.

Portal Study &
Research Abroad
Study & Research Abroad is a guide that provides information and recommendations for those wishing to undertake international academic and scientific mobility, with the collaboration of the Direção-Geral do Ensino Superior, the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia,da Direção Geral dos Assuntos Consulares e das Comunidades Portuguesas, gência Nacional Erasmus+ Educação e Formação, and Higher Education Institutions.
It aims to support the international mobility of students, teachers, researchers and non-teaching staff who wish to develop academic and/or scientific activities outside Portugal.
Financed Programmes
Egas Moniz is increasingly committed to internationalisation and, in this sense, has sought to extend the support that encourages scientific and cultural exchange, in order to develop new internationalisation opportunities for all its students, researchers, and teaching and non-teaching staff.
The grants from the European Union contribute to cover travel and living expenses during the period abroad.
The amount for expenses may vary depending:
- the host country;
- if the mobility involves two programme countries, the number of requests from people from your country interested in undergoing training abroad;
- the distance between your country and the host country;
- the existence of other sources of funding in your country or region (if the training period involves two programme countries).
