Admission requirements

Students may apply for admission to a higher education degree programme provided they cumulatively meet the following conditions:

These applicants must request the equivalence of their foreign secondary education qualification at a Portuguese public secondary school or at the Directorate-General for Education (DGE). Subsequently, when applying to Egas Moniz, applicants must request the replacement of their entrance examination(s) under Article 20-A.

The medical declaration, completed using the available form, must certify the absence of any psychological, sensory, or motor disability that would severely interfere with functional capacity and interpersonal communication to the extent of preventing the applicant’s own learning or that of others. The result, expressed as “Fit” or “Unfit,” does not influence the calculation of the application grade.

Reading this information does not exempt applicants from consulting the regulations currently in force.
